Accessibility Section 508

Persons with disabilities face many challenges with standard web sites. In order to reach the widest audience possible, we follow Section 508 accessibility guidelines.

For example, visually impaired users face many hurdles when navigating the web. Improperly designed pages cause the layout to disintegrate, rendering your content useless. If images lack descriptions and are improperly built, web pages prevent the screen reader from accurately reading your content. Some solutions we offer to aid visually impaired users include:

  • Creating flexible web pages. If a user has difficulty reading small type, they have the ability to increase the font sizes using their browser.
  • Making all content screen reader friendly. Screen readers are designed to read content aloud to visually impaired users who visit your site.

Obviously, other disabilities exist that impair web usability, and solutions for these problems are constantly being developed. Our goal is to stay attuned to the latest, most innovative methods for maximizing accessibility to our clients' content.
