I feel kind of uneasy posting something off a wrestling news site since apparently most of these are apparently, quote-unquote “unreliable” but here’s something that’s made my eyebrows raise.

Vince McMahon is apparently upset with Celebrity Championship Wrestling enough to basically disown everyone associated with the show. He has sent word to everyone affiliated with the show that they are, and I quote, “no longer welcome in the company”, and don’t want them visiting shows or even “talking with his company’s wrestlers.”

“Many in WWE are not happy with the program as they believe it exposes the wrestling business.”
>> I find this rather odd; isn’t that exactly what the WWE was doing when they broadcast the Tough Enough series? Someone help me contextualize this, please.

It’s really unnerving for me to think that Vince McMahon has actually severed ties with his biggest draw ever, Hulk Hogan, the man who arguably, single-handedly made professional wrestling famous. Also on the list are top draws like Rob Van Dam and Bill Goldberg, Eric Bischoff, and Hall-of-Famers like Jimmy Hart

What are your opinions regarding this move? Do you think Vince McMahon is being hypocritical and overreacting? Or is he at all justified in doing this? Why?
