The things that motivate one person may not motivate another. However, it is very important to write down the reasons why you want your internet business to succeed. This list will act as a constant reminder and should push you to do more and work harder.

First and maybe foremost, a successful online business can allow you to quit your day job and be able to work for yourself whenever and wherever you like. To me this is the number one motivating factor that pushes me to work harder.

The ability to be able to use your home business to pay off normal bills is another factor that makes me want to succeed with an internet business. Bills equal stress to many people and if you have some extra income that can take care of those bills, it can reduce a lot of stress as well.

Heres a good one to add to your list…use your online business to buy yourself a house, or several houses. How cool would that be to own places of residence in different cities or locations all across the globe. A successful home business may be able to provide you with that opportunity.

Another major factor to build you business is the ability to be able to purchase things for others. The satisfaction you get from buying lavish gifts for your wife, kids, parents, or friends can really push some people and would be right up there on my dream list.

Why not relax and get away for a few weeks or months to some tropical paradises? I don’t know about you, but if an internet business can buy me long vacations, you can bet that I’m going to work my butt off to make it happen!

Another highly motivating factor to some is the chance to be able to donate money to those in need. Many churches, charities, and organizations are always asking for help and donations. The ability to be able give to these charities will lead to an overwhelming good feeling.

How about living the life and retiring at an early age? Running a successful internet business can lead you to be able to make large investments into stocks, real estate, or 401k. Investing a good percentage of your home business investments would be a wise thing to do.
