Internet markers work very hard, but often their efforts are wasted! They spend hours and hours, and hundreds of dollars creating videos, webpages, Squidoo lenses and blogs, to market affiliate products which they hope will gain them affiliate commissions, but easily get discouraged after a very short space of time when their sales figures are poor. When you login into your ClickBank account to see how much you’ve earned, only to find zeros staring you in the face, it’s easy to get fed up and give up.

The answer is to redirect your efforts! There’s nothing wrong with setting up blogs, Squidoo lenses and the like, but the goal of all of this work should be to send readers to YOUR page first, not to the landing page for the affiliate product. If you send all the traffic you generate to the product sales page, you only get one chance to sell to your potential customer.

A much better solution is this: create a squeeze page, and place an opt-in form at the top of the page. You can then use the opt-in form to ask subscribers to give you their first name and email address, in exchange for a free report or similar offer. You then have the opportunity to develop a “win-win” relationship with your new subscribers, and sell useful, relevant products to them. Time after time after time….

As your list grows, and your reputation with your subscribers grows, you will have many more chances to send more people to the sales pages you want to promote. With just one email, you can send make hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars from just one email to your list of subscribers. How does that sound- good, right?
